Investing your HSA funds lets your money grow tax-free, on top of the tax-free contributions and tax-free withdrawals you already get with an HSA. Instead of just sitting as cash, your funds can be invested in options like stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds, growing over time while remaining available for qualified medical expenses whenever you need them.

Threshold vary
