You can invest your HSA funds directly from your Health Wallet, no need to log in to another website or open a separate app.
Three market days
Investment trades will be reflected in your account within three market days. (A market day is a day when the stock markets are open, which is usually Monday through Friday.)
Investment dashboard
All trades take place within the Investment Dashboard. To navigate to your Investments Dashboard, select Invest or Investments.
Understanding your investments
After navigating to your Investment Dashboard, you'll notice three important numbers:
Total Investments: Total value of HSA investments
Daily Report: Total funds earned or lost in the day's market activity.
Buying Power: Based on your available HSA balance, your buying power highlights your available funds for purchasing investments.
How to buy
While in the Investments Dashboard, use the search bar to browse or look for an ETF, mutual fund, or stock to start! You can also filter by asset type (ETFs, mutual funds, or stocks) to narrow down your results.
After finding your desired purchase:
Select Buy on the summary page.
Enter the amount you want to purchase.
Select Review to finalize the transaction.
How to sell
In the Investment Dashboard, you'll be able to find My Portfolio, which features all of your HSA investments.
To sell an investment:
Choose the desired asset.
Select Sell on the asset summary page.
Enter the amount you want to sell.
Select Review to finalize the transaction.
